Nerja brings the sea, cliff views and its famous cave. Frigiliana, a few kilometres uphill, adds a walk through one of Andalusia's prettiest white villages. In summer the order matters: cave first, coast later.

Steep, immaculate lanes in the old Moorish quarter with broad coastal views.
Do not try to drive into the old centre. Park near the entrance.
